How long does it take to finish a song?Turnaround time depends on the project, but for a standard song, I usually spend 2–4 hours mixing and about 1 hour for mastering. Most projects can be completed within 1–2 business days after receiving all the files.
-
What files do you need for mixing? Please send full stems as WAV or AIFF, ideally in 48kHz / 24-bit, with peaks around -14dB and -6dB. If any tracks have heavy effects or processing, include both the processed and clean versions. Avoid putting anything on the master bus. And make sure all files are labeled properly and organized.
-
How do I send files for podcast episodes? For podcast editing or mixing, send me the raw voice tracks (preferably in WAV format), along with any music beds, intros, or ads you want included. Try to keep files labeled clearly and organized by episode.
-
Do you offer revisions?Yes, all mixing and mastering services include 2 revisions. Additional revisions can be added if needed for a small fee.
-
Do you record drums?Yes, for live drum recording, I rent a space with a drum kit included. The minimum booking time for these sessions is 3 hours.
-
Do you offer mix feedback or coaching?Yes, if you’re mixing your own music and need a second set of ears, I offer mix consulting sessions. I’ll listen to your track, give you detailed feedback, and help you improve the mix yourself.
-
Can you work remotely?Absolutely. Most of my work is done remotely, just send me the files, and we’ll keep communication clear throughout the process.

What’s the difference between editing, producing, mixing, and mastering?Editing: Cleaning up audio, removing noise, cutting mistakes, tightening timing. Producing: Helping create the structure, vibe, or arrangement of a song. Mixing: Balancing tracks, adjusting levels/EQ/fx to make them sound cohesive. Mastering: Final polish to making sure your track sounds great on all platforms.
